Oštir’s farm is a typical farm house, with all the atributes it needs. Inside the house you can find an old (traditional) kitchen stove, bread oven and restored old furniture. Outside the house there is a garden, a large hayrack and a fruit garden. Living on Oštir’s farm means bringing back the tradition. Our guests have the ability of using all of the above mentioned things, like they are their own masters of the farm.

  Rooms at Oštir’s farm are equipped with authentic old interiers and hide the stories of our ancestors. There are two doublebed rooms and one four bedded room.

  The kitchen is equipped with restored oak kitchen table and the iron stove. This one was brought here from former home of the Oštir family 60 years ago and built in the kitchen of Oštir’s farm. You can also use the conventional electric cooking plates.

  We invite you to try yourself in baking bread, pizza and other dishes from the oven. With our help you can learn how to bake bread and other dishes properly. In winter time, one of the rooms can be heated with the bread oven.

  You can always serve yourself with garden stuff or fruits from the fruit garden.

  Hayrack is a wooden, usually side-open building for saving wheat and hay. It is typical for Slovenian countryside and architecture. Oštir’s farm owns one of the biggest and oldest hayracks in this area.
